I thought everyone might like some information for anyone who wants to
provide help to the tornado victims in Muhlenberg County.
-An American Red Cross Disaster Relief Center has been set up at Second
Baptist Church in Greenville, and other centers are at the National Guard
Armory and the old Central City High School Gym in Central City.
-4-H and Dunmor Missionary Baptist Church are working on a joint effort to
collect donations at the Dunmor Missionary Baptist Fellowship Hall. Money,
plastic bins and totes, ziploc bags, clothing, blankets, coats and cold
weather items such as gloves, hats, mittens and scarves, and personal care
items like shampoo, soap, and deodorant, are needed. From there,
volunteers will assemble care packages for families and deliver to the
relief centers in Greenville. Donations will be accepted at the church
FRIDAY from 9 AM to 12 PM.
-Donations are also being accepted at the Logan County Extension Office in
Russellville on Spring Street. The hours there are FRIDAY 9 AM - 4 PM and
MONDAY 9 AM - 3 PM.
-Baby products like diapers and wipes and cleaning supplies such as bleach
and trash bags and paper towels are often-overlooked items that will be
very helpful during the cleanup effort.

Thanks so much to everyone for keeping the victims in your thoughts and
prayers.

Hi! I know this is kind of a long time after the fact, but I'm the Maranda Hall that sent this email. I just wanted to say thank you for helping to get this info out there, and I wanted to let you know that the relief effort we started wound up collecting over 8 truckloads of supplies that went to the victims.
